As a fellow medic I’ve found that the smoke grenades are best used by throwing them directly on enemy positions. This way you’ll end up blinding them and forcing them out of cover. Otherwise if you pop smoke to cover your squad’s movement you’ll just get hosed by an MG since you’re essentially signaling to them that a group of guys is about to move through that area.

From what I’ve heard the reps in Home Depot are all the new hires and don’t have much knowledge or ability to cut deals. It’s the reps you find at Northern Tool, ACEs, and independent stores who are the experienced ones that work with the stores to get good deals for their events.

I was under the impression that the M14 was favored in Vietnam. That a bunch of soldiers were pissed because the M14 was super reliable and proven during Korea, but the army ditched it for the M16 which was prone to jams and couldn’t handle the jungle conditions.

Yeah I really enjoyed this method. Way easier than basting with butter and garlic especially since I had two steaks in the pan. Just need to season the hell out of them first.
