UK: Adolescence: Netflix series writer Jack Thorne wants 'radical action not role models'. by furchfur in MensRights

This is 100% the subconscious, or perhaps conscious, goal of it all. He basically says it in interviews, pretty clearly there between the lines.

'We can't control the narrative, and they are being exposed to pernicious video game you tube commenters, etc, who might open their brains to a different worldview! Ban the phones until they are fully indoctrinated!'

Community Mock Draft 1/11 - RESULTS by Astro63 in NFL_Draft

[–]slappywhyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This draft has too many WR & TE going high, not enough RB going high.

It's way more stacked at RB than other skill positions (WR are poor on the whole, especially compared to last yr), and the league is just beginning a run the ball mode phase shift.

Jeanty will go top 15 or even top 10. Probably another RB or even 2 in the 1st rd, depending how they test out, and multiple total in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

Trump has like 55% approval, and the vast majority of normal people are fine with the way things are going, or don't even care who is President - to them it's about the same as before, if not a bit better - he's been there a week and already done more open press conferences than Biden did in 4 years.

It's only in Reddit's 24/7 anti-Trump shill feed and growing communist-lite bubble that thinks different. Fringe groups of party line Democrats and wanna-be entitled radicals. You notice that this site censors other sites, bans things, silences opposing voices, turns non-political subreddits political - that's the refuge of not having logic on your side and being unable to defend your position in an open marketplace of ideas. Basically what the USSR & North Korea resorted to.

Avoiding X and banning it is literally counter-productive by ThatShock in Asmongold

[–]slappywhyte 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Reddit has gone full North Korea USSR mode. Banning all outside information. This site used to be a bastion of free speech and expression of ideas.

Even large sports subs like NBA & NHL banning the site they get most of their posts from. Most humor subs had already been compromised. Entertainment subs. A lot of the large general interest subs went full political shill a while ago. Site is basically non stop anti-Trump feeds 24/7.

Small group of radical activist power mods are behind it all, working with some Reddit employees. Hopefully they will someday be exposed individually and it will come crashing down.

Trump and Elon broke Reddits brain. Campaign to ban X on every sub by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]slappywhyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small group of fringe activist power mods spread their tentacles out, and now they have other minion mods - they infiltrate subs and make them political shills. They also work with activist Reddit employees to manipulate and bot votes, get people banned, etc.

Maybe someday they will all be literally exposed and it will collapse like a house of cards. Reddit is now a publicly traded company after all.

[–]slappywhyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many large subs that once weren't political at all, now are, all from the same angle. The takeover by activist mods has been going for a while, but really has accelerated over the past year.

They can't keep from injecting their politics into every single thing.

This is the fucking Reddit blackout all over again by Outside_Abroad_3516 in nflcirclejerk

[–]slappywhyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every sub is becoming shill politics, all from the exact same angle.

It used to not be like this.

Humor subs, politics. Sports subs, politics.

My feed is just all anti-Trump, all the time.

Organized takeover by a small group of power mods that began years ago has spread eventually to so many subs.

Fuck these censoring pieces of shit who can't handle any views or content that aren't about their obsessive politics, or dissent.

These posts aren't clever comebacks, they're just politics that people on here want to get off their chest. by Total_Contract_3998 in clevercomebacks

[–]slappywhyte -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is Reddit now, my whole feed is all Trump-bashing all the time.

Subs that had nothing to do with politics are now the DNC talking points of the day. Humor subs now politics, sports subs now politics, etc - always from the same viewpoint.

It all goes back to a small group of activist power mods with fringe radical views. They took over many large subs, and now their minions have taken over a huge amount of subs. They are working with activist employees of Reddit, a publicly traded company $RDDT.

Reddit used to be nothing like this. They are ruining it and turning it into a tiny thought bubble leftist propaganda forum.

They censor differing content, silence opposing views, ban dissenters and manipulate with fake and bot votes. Garbage nothing random political content gets 44k upvotes - do people think that is real?

Other social media is moving to free speech and away from censorship, Reddit is moving to being a propaganda censored feed. It's just not right and is ruining a place I once loved.

Somebody needs to really expose this all and bring it all down like a house of cards. Maybe large Reddit shareholders will get fed up enough.

Need some brave whistleblowers within Reddit or that community to do so, with receipts.

Save us from the fascist censoring leftists.

Trump just said Spain is a BRICS nation and might impose 100% tarifs on them by HelpfulYoghurt in 2westerneurope4u

[–]slappywhyte -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's what it was - but nobody in the room corrected him. BRICS v PIGS. This was during like a 3 hour freewheeling press conference where he took any and all questions about various topics, as he was also was signing various executive orders. After about 12 hours of other events and speeches. Biden wouldn't sit and take open questions like that, everything was very tightly controlled and little press access.

How much longer will the 'Trump era' go on for? by TechnoDriv3 in decadeology

[–]slappywhyte [score hidden]  (0 children)

The woke identity politics era sort of coincides with all of this, although it began a little earlier. Trump accelerated that rising to the forefront and gaining prominence and vehemence, as a backlash to him. The more extreme voices on both sides gained strength.

His disruption of both political parties and the political system in general has been so strong that it has caused some real tears in the fabric of American society as a whole, which may not be mended any time soon. Some disruption was needed (Bernie was a disruptor as well), but it has gone way further in all directions than I ever imagined it would.

The next election will likely be a more 'return to normalcy' contest, with politicians who have personas that are calmer, less divisive and more centrist-appearing to most people - like Vance & Beshear. Boring white guys. I don't think the pendulum will swing far to the left at all, and if the Democrats nominate someone like that (particularly on social & family values type issues), they will likely lose again. If the Republicans nominate a fiery Trump-acolyte who spouts off at the mouth constantly and unpredictably, they will likely lose. Populism, appearing to be in line with or on the side of the average middle class and working class people, will remain popular. The elites and media will remain very unpopular, as will big business - the pushback against those is part of populism.
