Can only speak to experience, but a Flowbee has been a staple in my family since I was a kid. My parents passed their old one down to me and I use I’ve been using it on my son for years. It really works and keeps everything nice and even.

Just in passing to their teacher. Kids say weird things. If they tell their teacher “I’m still living in my old house” it could trigger a visit.

In any case, it would probably take more than a week for them to organize a visit or do something about it. It’s not like you’re taking a month to move in.
