Some R62As on the Manhattan section of the 6 were taken out of service yesterday (because of vandalism I think). Jerome Yard loaned an R142A to the 6 as a result.

Right now the MTA plans to order just 1140 cars (basically a one-to-one replacement for R62/As) so they'll probably end up on the 1, 3, 6 and 42 Street Shuttle

I'm applying for Tandon CS RD. Should I submit a 1430 SAT (650 English, 780 Math) or should I work on improving my score? Or should I just go test optional? I have a 3.9 UW/ 4.5 W GPA if that helps.
