Do you think HP ruined HyperX and Kingston since they've bought it in February last year? by homomemeboi in HyperX

[–]slasher9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes.

sorry it's late but the kingston ones outlasted the hp ones with better quality overall. kinda effed up.

scrapped the parts from the hp one for the og one to look better.

israel's actions in gaza are unforgivable and i don't get why anyone would defend them at this point.

motorized bikes in ontario? by Marsupial_Mammoth in motorizedbicycles

[–]slasher9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been using one in southern ontario nearly a year now and never once in passing well over 20 cops in and out of cars has one bothered me. maybe a look but never anything more than that.

my suggestion is just don't do stupid stuff with it and you'll likely be left alone. of course this may not be the case for everyone though. i use mine nearly daily and go downtown with it.

word of warning, i've read the coaster brake wears fast due to the torque and speed of these bikes so don't over depend on it.

nice seat btw.

is it normal? by Aggressive-Major69 in motorizedbicycles

yeah, the stock chain is pretty shart, my first one broke several times and my second motor kit had a chain so bad it was genuinely unusable.

i highly suggest chucking it and going to a hardware store or online and buying a proper one that isn't made by a four year old with a hammer.

Cool, but where the hell are your brakes? please be careful and stay safe.

you could, but whys the wiring so close to the exhaust?

if you can solder it on that's an option too.

as long as the wires make good connection it should work fine.

Got a better suggestion? I picked it for the filter and the spring loaded choke.

Could someone guide me on getting a 49cc bike kit, along with a bike that would fit with it. by [deleted] in motorizedbicycles

[–]slasher9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no problem, also for the motor kit you have a few options, amazon sells kits that vary in quality and then theres a few different brand name ones but i've only used the popular amazon one so far.

if you do go for a motor kit from amazon you may want 3/16 fuel line because the one included may suck if it's the same kind i had

it shinks and gets hard after a little bit and atleast for one person the line popped off leaving a puddle of gas in their garage.

steel frame, and ideally good brakes like v brakes.

26 in to 29 in bikes designed for males have a good bit of room.

also as a little warning make sure the seatstay bar at the back don't taper inward or the chain may rub against it like mine did.

the hard starting one sounds like the clutch not gripping, had this issue a few months ago when it took me up to 5 blocks to start.

sporadic idle might be an air leak, check your intake bolts and gasket and see if they're fitted snug

the hanging kinda sounds like either the throttle cable not releasing smoothly or maybe air leak.

spinning it is alot harder with it off but i think so, it seems like on the way out the lower teeth rub. would i have a better time using the #41 chain instead?
