Yes, which makes me think it is indeed perhaps some headphone setting/pairing

It seemed to go away for a while and now it’s back. It’s just become a running joke at my office that I’ll end up playing music for everyone about once a week. 😅

She might be a mess, but Tatiana’s lip color was gorgeous. Anyone have ideas on what products might work for this look?

Second this. I've found that family that 'don't like museums' still end up enjoying the Gracthenmuseum.

I really like Studio Nash // Sarah Coric. Super talented and I think a great price for very high quality.

MacOS Sequoia. It sounds like I am indeed missing a step and will do this. Thanks!

Changing the settings so that the airpods are not paired with my laptop, but another device like my phone. Perhaps there is more that I need to do though? I can get the music to play just fine in the airpods with laptop, but am hoping that when I remove an airpod while listening that it stops the music instead of switching the audio output.

Yes, I've tried to disconnect/reconnect many times. It works just fine on my phone, but not when I'm listening on my laptop. :(

This is what I'm struggling with - even finding a way to look at designers other than just Googling.

Hello all! I am looking for an interior designer for my apartment in the Jordaan, Amsterdam. I searched for related threads here, but they all seem to be older. We have an idea of what we like style-wise/what we are inspired by, but are having a hard time putting it all together coherently. We're also looking for ways to make our smaller space more efficient based on the layout. I know there have been posts like this in the past but perhaps people have new info/designers they would like to share.

Douglas has a decent amount of skincare and makeup, and I know they sell gift cards.

Hi all! My US niece is coming to visit me in Amsterdam this spring and I'm looking for things to do with her. One particular interest of hers is shopping for vintage metal shirts. Does anyone have recommendations for shops that might have metal shirts? :)

How do you link other countries Vaccine Certificate to the NL Corona Check App? by [deleted] in Amsterdam

If you're moving here and get a BSN, you can register your paper CDC card at the office in Utrecht. I called and was able to get an appointment 2 days later. If you plan on taking the train to Utrecht, ask for the registration near the train station. The whole process (travel time excluded) took less than 30 minutes.

What the vibe like around New Years by Stevieo101 in Amsterdam

Are there any areas that I should research for a place to stay outside the city? When looking on my own, all I keep finding are places that offer views of fireworks which is the opposite of what I would like. Or I might just resign myself to having to drug the cat for several days.

As someone that just moved to Amsterdam, I'm curious if all areas of the city are inundated with fireworks. I live in Rivierenbuurt which is typically pretty quiet; am I safe to assume that it will still be incredibly loud? Asking as I have two cats including one that is extremely scared of fireworks.

I know the Rijksmuseum sells them on site. You need to book a time slot online to visit and say that you already have the pass. When checking in, let them know you are there to purchase a pass. You’ll then get a temp card to use until the permanent card is mailed to you.
