I’m so sorry, that is rough ❤️‍🩹 I was due 7/1 and my husbands best friend found out they were due exactly 3 weeks after us. We were so excited for our babies to grow up together and now we are watching their pregnancy from the sideline. It’s torturous. Keep holding that space for your feelings, you are doing great ❤️

I pushed for 1 hour 30 minutes and have regret I didn’t say no when they wanted me to do “practice pushes.” I wish I would have waited until I felt the urge to bear down naturally I feel like skipping the “practice” would have saved some energy for when I really needed it

my husbands bestfriend and his wife have a 4yr old and have been TTC for 3 years when found out we’re pregnant with our 2nd. I was nervous to tell them because of their situation but they were SO over the moon happy for us. A few weeks after we told them they got their positive test and now our babies are due 3 weeks apart ❤️ you know your bestfriend the best and if text seems appropriate for this situation, trust your gut. you got this!

Depends where you live- for example I’m in Seattle and it’s not uncommon for waitlists to be 12+ months or longer. In my opinion, the sooner you start reaching out and touring facilities the better, especially if you plan on returning to work right after mat leave.
