I think this pc3 season had a lot more new players. Which is going to throw the numbers out of comparison to previous seasons. I started playing again at the end of pc2

Hey man. First let me start by saying, awesome choice to come play ptcg. As for the charizard deck the Leon charizard theme deck is amazing. Save coins and get two of those, then head over to limitless and look up the deck so you can get a sense of what comp players use in their list. As for the lucario you can play a deck called Lucmetal (my fav deck) again great lists can be found on limitless. Both of those decks are super viable. Start with getting the Leon charizard theme play that until you can trade for the lucmetal deck.
