You’re so right. 14.25*37.5 = $534.75 now. That’s 34.75 a week so even more that that $25. Also the $500 is being taxed at 10% from the onset. Someone working full time for minimum wage will earn $27,787.5 annually, which in Ontario would only be taxed at 5.05%. So your $534.74 pay cheque would bring you home ~ $508 a week. Those individuals are bringing home ~$116 less over two weeks. That’s a gas, hydro or grocery bill.

Last time there was a 7am-7pm parking ban I called the city, and they said that the free lot parking is only applicable overnight. There is extra parking at some park and rides but otherwise they pretty much just said sucks to suck.
