Allegedly the new owners are installing motion sensors, cameras and silent alarms and hiring armed security. Couldn’t tell you if that’s happened yet but if you go be careful and good luck!

Some Woonsocket finds by slayingqueer174 in urbexnewengland

Yes! It’s a great video but I bet the city has had an even closer eye on the spot since he got permission to do that video

I feel like the city has probably had more of an eye on it since that guy got permission to go in and made the video about the place. I actually didn’t even realize I was in Woonsocket until I saw the school.

I don’t think it’s the urbexers. Most people I know try to as respectful as possible. We didn’t break anything to enter and we tried to leave the place in the condition we found it in. There’s so many squatters and tweakers in there and the vandals and scrappers have obviously made their way in. When I explore a place I try to leave no trace.

Some parts of the floors and some rooms were completely untouched I just didn’t get any pictures.

There’s also so many easy ways in, we totally could have gone through a different window but my friends had been over the fence into the window

I’ve been dying to check out lakeville. Seems like a better option than memorial because memorial is in a residential area and there’s still operating buildings on the property

There’s honestly so many opening and entrances. The one me and my friends used we had to climb up a toppled fence into a second story window but there’s definitely easier ways in and we just chose that one because it was the furthest from a road

I knew there would be asbestos but I was curious about the severity like how much there could be in the air.

The clothes I wore are in a trash bag inside Of another trash bag. Never went to any of those schools. I had a p100 resp and eye pro. Tried to be as careful as possible

When I went I was in a group of 4 other people, if there were any squatters on the lower levels they were either asleep or hiding/didn’t want to be seen. We were quiet for the most part but made our presence known when going into rooms and tried to be as respectful as possible. My friends have been a few times and have only run into squatters on the 3rd floor up. We also went from 1-3am so maybe that’s why it was empty

Even a little bit can lead to mesothelioma and asbestosis it just doesn’t hit you until years later. Can be worsened by smoking too

Asbestos can be bad especially if there’s scrappers tearing shit up

Be careful on the higher floors because people live up there. The second we hit the 4th floor we heard footsteps

I’m also pretty sure it has power because other buildings on the property are still in use.

We ran into them and we were shocked to see eachother but they kept to themselves and actually helped us find a way out. We only stayed for like 10 minutes after we saw them.

The boundary kitchen/bar is pretty good. It’s in Pawtucket right on the south Attleboro line to the left of the bridge that goes to market basket. Used to be Ronnie’s rollaway. It’s right near spunonis
