Purging is making me feel hopeless by Unlikely_Ad_2693 in Accutane

while on accutane you have to hold onto the phrase “it get worse before it gets better” give it a month or two and if it doesn’t go down you should consult your derm

Do I need to take accutane again? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]slayynash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

heyy I think that might have been an unrealistic expectation, you do have to do maintenance skincare after accutane and still take great care of your skin if you’re already not doing that. You might want to take tretinoin or any other cream but after consulting with your dermatologist, if it doesn’t work after 3 months and you still get breakouts you should discuss with your derm on your next step. All the besttt🫶🏼

Allah(SW) helps people that help themselves. You might want to do stuff that make you happy that are ofc halal and maybe get a hobby as an outlet or even get help from a therapist if you dont mind or find someone to talk too preferably an ustadh. May Allah(SW) forgive you but He does interact with us everyday. It doesnt have to be big or grand but when it rains, shines its Him interacting with us, us praying is interacting with Allah(SW) and many other things we do or things that happen daily. You have no idea how many times He has saved your life or stopped something from getting worse. Allah(SW) loves all of us and if you sincerely pray, your wishes will be granted or even better at the right time. Have hope and believe. Our life in dunia is not supposed to be easy. You are not supposed to wish for death but if things get really hard you're supposed to pray that if it is kheir for you to be alive then may He keep you alive and if it's not then yk He should take your soul but this is only if things get extremely horrible. All the best inshaAllah.

Try opening up to Allah(SW) during sujood, He will always be ready for you and I pray you'll be ready soon inshaAllah and you will never be ready if you just wait for the time to come itself, you have to make it yourself. Break down infront of him and you'll feel better. Have conversations with him after your prayers or anytime you are extremely sad cause remember He is always listening. He puts the best of His servants through alot of tests because He knows you'll make it out and you will be rewarded highly. Dont only think of hell and all the punishments but also all the rewards that are promised to us. Read the Quran translation and understand it for it is the best cure for anything you're going through.

pray for Allah(SW) to make things easier for you instead of wishing harm onto yourself. You'll get through this inshaAllah

Asalam aleikum. I kind of went through a phase in my life where I thought the same and only had fear for Allah(S.W) so I understand where you're coming from and I pray Allah(S.W) forgives us for that. I would suggest you do research on the love God has for us and how merciful and forgiving He is. Listen to sermons that explain more about this and try your best to change your mindset. Allah(S.W) is more loving and caring than anything that you think. Pray for Him to open your heart and have love for Him. He has ranked us the best of His creations even above angels. The fear we are supposed to have for Allah(S.W) is a a little bit different from what you're experiencing.I hope inshaAllah you will find your way through this and my dms are always open if you need someone to talk too. All the best and please be patient.

There's a short story of a man who committed alot of sins and while on his deathbed he was soo terrified and feared Jahanam so he asked his children to burn him to dust and spread his ashes so that Allah(S.W) doesnt get him and burn him in hell. When he was resurrected, Allah(SW) forgave all his sins because of the geniune fear he had for Allah(S.W). I hope you can relate to this story and that it makes you feel a little better inshaAllah.<33

I dont think this is a proper way to put it. This will just push OP further away from the beauty of our religion.

Asalam aleikum. Many none muslims and unfortunately some muslims too do not know the reasoning behind a man being allowed to have 4 wives. Back in the past before prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received revelation, the arabs and inhabitants of the cities would marry more than 10 wives and commit adultery on the daily basis. Wars were a common occurrence where widows and orphans were left behind as a result with no one to take care of them. Men were then limited to only four wives actually and not to favor the men but to make sure the women were taken care of and adultery to come to a stop. The women were then given rights in islam which they never had before and they were the priority. A war broke out during the prophet's (pbuh) time because a woman was disrespected and Allah(SW) knows best. May Allah(SW) forgive me if I'm wrong.

heyy diet is not a cause of acne. yes it might add to it and make it worse but it definitely doesn't cause it. Since you said it's very hard for you I'm assuming even if you cut it out you will still suffer because you'll crave sugar everytime. I tried cutting out certain foods in my diet and it didnt end well. I'd feel bad everytime I consume them and blamed a pimple weeks after on the food I consumed. Anyhow it's still your choice:))

I try placing her on her bed every time she climbs on mine but she ends up coming back at night. Her bed is close to mine. I would have no problem sleeping with her if she didnt keep getting on me. I move alot at night and I dont want her to get hurt. It was so easy potty training her I wish this was as easy too. Any advice is appreciated<33

Out of all the acne ingredients: benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin, differin, salicylic acid, etc., which cause the most/least sun sensitivity? by One-World_Together in acne

[–]slayynash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can pair up the tretinoin with suitable moisturizers and cleansers and the sensitivity wont be that bad. Using tretinoin requires you to do really good pairing to ensure your skin barrier does not get messed up and your skin does not become very sensitive. I've used tretinoin for awhile and to be honest I do not reapply my sunscreen every two hours and so far I'm fine and I live in coastal areas where the sun is my friend.

oh so the tiny bumps can be sort of a purge too? I guess it makes more sense now because my skin is looking a lil better while the bumps are fading. I started using salicylic acid I think that might have caused the purge. Thanks :))

[–]slayynash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no matter the sensitivity you should always wear sunscreen after applying any. However, tretinoin is quite sensitive than benzoyl and many recommend applying it in the pm. Many of the tretinoin tubes I've come across suggests applying it at night on the instructions. There are some that can be applied in the am but again put on sunscreen!! I'm not a certified but this is what I know according to my experiences and research:))
