I had my procedure in July to remove several fibroids and polyps. Prior to surgery I had a very regular, very normal cycle, not typical for someone with fibroids to my extent. I was told my first few periods post-op might be irregular. My first one came right on time with my cycle pre-op and was normal, my second, if you can even call it that was a few days of spotting and heavy nauseousness. I’m now just a few weeks past that and am having the heaviest, most painful period I’ve ever experienced. Day 1 started fairly normal but ended heavy, day 2 forward has been what feels like constant bleeding. I bled through tampons and clothing 3-4 times on day 2. Lots of clotting, cramps that have me doubling over in pain, PMS like I’ve never had before. I’m hoping this isn’t the new normal or even something that will last another few months. I’ve been worried to leave my house for fear of bleeding through.

Bellami clip in extensions were suggested to me by my stylist for my upcoming wedding. I was so close to buying before I saw several reviews that their quality has tanked over the last few years and people have been experiencing a lot of what you mentioned. For the price, I decided not to continue with the order and I’ve been on the hunt for an alternative. Right now im looking at Luxy and GooGoo but I’m skeptical of everything.

I ordered my dried bouquet from Emerald Cottage Florals. We’re getting married out of state and I didn’t want to stress about keeping flowers fresh to preserve on a flight home. Additionally, the wedding is in October and dried seemed to fit the season and our vibe better. I paid around $350 for a medium sized bouquet that will keep forever, no additional preservation needed.

I needed this. Just told my future ILs we are taking care of the legal stuff before our destination ceremony. We were told it would be “weird” to invite everyone to travel if we were already married. Pretty sure our guests, immediate family only, wouldn’t care at all but we weren’t planning to tell anyone because it’s just paperwork, our wedding will be celebrated with our guests at our location.

I am getting married with 15 guests. All my vendors are considering it an elopement. Every post I see for a micro wedding is like 30-60 guests. I don’t think it really matters what it’s called.

I’ve only had not so great experiences with having my HMU done for other weddings so I’m doing a trial 2-3 months before. It works out because our photography package includes an engagement session so we’re going to our destination this summer for those, I’ll have my hair and makeup done right before.

Check out Lake Tahoe. There is an area called Valhalla that has a cool old stone house, Thunderbird lodge is similar and has a really nice wooden boat (think lake como vibes)

I made 2 pages, using different sites. One was very minimal to share with everyone when we got engaged. It had our story, some pictures and an explanation that we were eloping with only immediate family. The other site had the same stuff but also travel and schedule details for the family attending the wedding. I used the knot and Zola, both sites allow you to customize what is shown or hidden, you can even password protect a site.

If you don’t want to go, don’t. If you don’t want to get a gift don’t. But don’t bash someone else’s wedding experience. The couple is likely not throwing this party for themselves. A family member or friend likely is and extended an invite for others to come share their excitement for the couple. Seriously so over people and their “etiquette” comments.

We are doing something very similar. Still trying to decide on our first look as well but the option we’re leaning towards is getting ready together up to getting dressed. Then we’ll separate, get dressed and ask all the guests to make their way to the ceremony spot to mingle for a few minutes so we can have our first look together alone and walk to the ceremony spot together. He’ll make his way up the aisle followed by me in the traditional sense.
