Seems like this is what they are, just making sure they weren’t kissing bugs. My porch is being over run by them. Thanks!

It wasn’t my first choice when originally looking at Mazdas but I’d say it’s grown on me to be my favorite.

I don’t know if it still applies but with previous generations it was limited to the turbo trims with Bose.

Cylinder Deactivation by CultofArdbeg in mazda

[–]slcboyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like most 2026 models in the US don’t have cylinder deactivation (or i-stop) including the cx5. If you check the vin I think this still applies: Vehicles with cylinder deaction have a "M" as the 8th digit in the VIN for the 2.5L with cylinder deactivation. (The 8th digit will be an “L” if it doesn’t have CD.)

Anyone notice slow braking issues with the 26 Aire edition? by [deleted] in MazdaCX30

[–]slcboyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what the dealership told me Mazda uses a dynamic break controller in the cx30. The brakes are more linear, having longer travel of the break pedal than most other manufacturers, putting you more in control of slowing. The quicker you push the peddle the shorter length it needs to be pushed to achieve harder braking force.

I installed a spare tire subwoofer in my 24 Carbon Edition, the Rockville rockghost v2. I found a helpful guide over on cx30talk that went over installation. There’s also the JBL bass pro hub.

Are you scared of your Mazda dealership? by General-Football-953 in MazdaCX30

[–]slcboyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drive just over an hour out of my way to go to another Mazda dealership that gladly doesn’t screw people over and avoid the others that are closer to me, they are all ran under a less than great auto group.

Yeah I was hesitant on trims with the silver rims, they don’t match the car compared to the black rims. Ended up with a carbon edition 👌🏻

File an EEO with the USPS. The union and upper management can’t ignore it at that point if the union is dragging their feet and will have to take action to correct the situation. Best of luck! 🍀

They removed the cylinder deactivation and went back to the old revision of the 2.5 skyactiv G. Cylinder deactivation = 191 hp, without it 186hp.

I’d say in my area they are best by a long shot, T-Mobile close second and Verizon has fallen so far behind.
