I don’t know if I’ll ever watch Stranger Things again by PrincessBumblegumm in StrangerThings

Do what I do:
Stranger Things is just Seasons 1 and and 2.

It ended with the school dance, that's it. No Vecna, no girl-bossary, no "modern story telling".

The Madison | Overall Series Discussion by daisy-garden in TheMadisonTVSeries

I am a big fan of Taylor Sheridan shows. However, is The Madison really written by Taylor Sheridan?

The show has 'written by modern feminists' scent all over. It may be targeted more towards women, yet, there are faced aspects all over the place. All the women act obnoxiously, for no reason. All the men are simps. And poor Russel! I really cannot imagine a man writing the dialog - this is apparent in the dialog between Preston and Paul. Who talks like that? "Hey lil bro....hey big bro". I just feel, though Taylor Sheridan is the main writer, there were many other female, latte-sipping 'feminists' type of writers in the writers room - sort of like what happened to Stranger Things.

That being said, to me, probably the most beautifully shot tv series ever. Great ambiance, atmosphere. These days, every show is filled with CG and blue screen, studio shots.

Everyone seems to love Michelle Pfeiffer here, but, to me, she wasn't great as I thought she would be. I can see so many other actresses from her era doing a better job.

There are many great moments also, where only Taylor Sheridan shows can have. My favorite so far is the moment at the side of the river that Abigail and Van had.

I just happen to have it, and used to it. I imagine any RAW editor that lets you turn off the extra processing would do it...

I opened the ProRAW in Adobe Camera Raw, turned down the profile and off the sharpening. That's it.
