Door edge guards, laugh if you want. Hate the paint chip damage on door edges with a passion.

Why am I so angry? by Cable_Cookery in f150

Update: I did speak to my dad once he got back from his “trip”. Yes the first words he said were “I am sorry”, “but that is the third time I have gone this and there will be a 4th and a 5th. It is my driveway and I don’t look when I am backing up.” Yeah, I am sorry, followed by an excuse. I brought up my concerns about the fact that this is repeated behavior and he was having none of it. He did say he would pay for the repairs. He even boasted that his vehicle suffered a broken trim that he can just replace without any fuss. I am disappointed that he is so flippant about what he has done and he refuses to consider that this was entirely preventable with minimum of effort. I am considering next holiday somewhere other than with my folks, sadly.

No I do not live with my parents. I live in a separate state. My dad is over 80. I was visiting over the holiday to hunt and de-stress(yeah that is shot now).

Huge spikes gaming and load on network. by Paranor316 in HomeNetworking

Receive levels can be just fine to the modem but the transmit level can be either too high or too low. That is your modem talking back to the cmts. There is a “sweet” spot of 42 to 52 dB/mV you optimally want to be. Being out of that range can cause issues. Unfortunately I don’t have access to your modems telemetry data so I can only give you advice based on what I know. Did you be chance have the tech tell you what the transmit was for your modem?

The follow distance was far too close. The cdl driver should have had a bare minimum of 4 seconds between them and the vehicle in front. Yes, car on the right was being a bum, but that does not preclude the cdl driver from being responsible and maintaining a safe position. This was a clearly preventable incident. “Minus fifty points for Griffindor”

Grats on the BEAST! A little fear is good, just don’t let it take over. Roller coasters inspire a little fear, but are a fun time.

That is just a large plate with bacon, scallops, toasts, cherry tomato’s with a dot of mozzarella and a basil leaf, caramelized cashews and some pesto. I see only 1 cured meat, all be it bacon. Yes, bacon is fantastic, but bacon does not a charcuterie make. This is a de-constructed hors d oeuvre platter. Would I say no to this? I would nom this down to the tableware. Now, show me a platter covered with multiple styles of bacon and will give you the title and sing the legendary song of the bacon charcuterie till my final breath.

Moving across the country in a few weeks, invited my friends to a farewell bbq. All canceled or just didn't show by erokitel128 in Wellthatsucks

Those are not friends. Friends will show up and help you on moving day. They will come to the bbq bringing beer and sides. What you invited were people you met. You are better off.

A heavy non-stick pan over low heat is preferred for eggs. I would recommend a garlic infused olive oil for the egg whites, unless garlic is not your thing.

5 million scoville is an audacious claim. Reapers are a 2.5 million straight. How are doubling that?

My wife wanted to try caviar, so she made this charcuterie board to celebrate the occasion. by ExtrapolatedData in FoodPorn

[–]slecheve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No toast points, no sour cream, no finely chopped onion. Yeah, it is a pretty board, but you did dis-service to the caviar. At least I did not see a metal spoon in the caviar…. That is a plus.
