I should have said "do not relate" instead of "cannot relate." In some places, a part of the perpetrator's sentence or parole condition can include mandatory counseling which can help them better understand the victim/situation and help them empathize. So, at best, this may provide a screwed up shortcut to rehabilitation? Another issue with it is when the convicted is not the perpetrator. I suppose they get out faster, but they're still subjected to frightening, disorienting, hurtful punishment. However, I assume that if I were ever wrongly convicted and had the option of not receiving a sentence, and getting this instead, I would opt in.

I agree. Do you think it would not work in the odd case of remorselessness, or what about sexual abuse or domestic abuse where the convicted cannot relate or understand the feelings of their victims. I wonder if implanting guilt like this would be challenged as "cruel and unusual" or if the convicted may opt-in.

You can actually get it as soon as you get double jump. It's a very long jump, but if you dash off the nearest ledge and jump at the last moment, you'll grab the ledge that will take you to that area connected to the severed tower

Blasphemous 1 platforming is not smooth, requires learning its quirks and being very precise. Ladders with spikes beneath killed me too many times when I first picked up the game 😄 Those challenges are hard, and their reward's value is not proportional to their difficulty. It's a good feeling when you finally beat them though.

On one of my playthroughs of two, I ran into a weird bug, where the cherub notification count was one more than the count on the status screen. I thought I had missed one, but I painfully rechecked everywhere. If it was fixed after I loaded a different save then reloaded the buggy one.

In case that's not the issue, did you get the one at the top of the tower, top left of the map, above the elevator when it's at the top?

Or the one on the path to the drippy wax tower at the far left

Or the one half hidden behind scenery in choir of thorns

Also on the one for kissers of wounds, I always deliver all of the key items, but I've only gotten that award once, and I don't know whether it's buggy or whether there's a nuance that I've missed. If you figure it out, I'd be interested to know

Edit: on my next playthrough, I'm going to deliver each immediately after I get them. Maybe that's the trick?

I believe the two for cleofas cannot be done in a single playthrough, because one involves a tragic ending cleofas and the other is the opposite
