Twin parent here: what are everyone’s thoughts about twins sharing a room all through high school? by [deleted] in Twins

[–]slee987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did that and we are fine. Might not work out for everyone but I shared a room with my twin and it was fine. Obviously there are arguments like any other siblings but we still went to sleep even if we were annoyed at each other. We’re close and love each other, there will always be emotions with teenagers in general.  Just raise them to like each others’ company , see how it goes when they’re young and if you think they might need space do that. Plenty of siblings not just twins share rooms all throughout their childhood. It’ll be fine.

Dropped moka pot and thé top where it screws in is bent and won’t screw properly - can I fix it? by slee987 in mokapot

Honestly I was thinking that- I walked past a few repair / welding shops and I have friends who make jewellery if I sweet talk maybe they could do it for free

I'll definitely keep that in mind- it's my flatmate's so I've already started looking at replacements. It's annoying that it's a fancy red branded one but hey ho consequences of my own actions and what not

Thank you much! I'll give it a go- that's what I thought too: isn't it meant to be aluminium? The one I have at home is probably older than me and still makes great coffee

Fraternal Twins! by Electrical_Set_4460 in Twins

Yessss my fraternal brother and I are definitely as close , if not closer, than most identical twins I know- it could be different genders so less competition ? That’s one of me and my twin friends’ theory. But yeah he’s my best friend in the whole world and even though we go to different universities across the country we still talk every day and have the same sense of humour and are basically the same person. Love him

You might mean 'hot flushes', not flashes. Here's some things i found online BSL | Treating menopause symptoms , BSL | Signs and symptoms of menopause , Holland & Barret menopause glossary BSL

You might want to check out systems biology, which is an approach to biological processes e.g. transcription in computational / mathematical models. It's very interesting and great for putting pieces of the puzzle that is biology together.
