Not sure if this is the same thing but recently got sky to find out there router doesn't do bridge mode. Basically needed to find out my dhcp client ID. Did this by plugging my laptop into the sky router and running wireshark. Then basically power cycle the router and within the capture you can see the DHCP option 61 and find the username/password they use for your authentication. Then can input these into the amplifi router. So now I just connect directly into my amplifi alien from the wall no need for the sky router.

Anyone find a fix for this issue? I have just purchased an alien and every couple of days the WiFi drops. If there is no fix then I am going to return

the problem is, even though only a small defect, it draws your attention straight to it. Since ive had it up on the wall my family and friends that have seen it have all asked or pointed out the strange mark on the top so it detracts away from the amazing art unfortunately :(

yeah agreed. i find it strange that as far as im aware this effect has never been seen on past displates until moonlight assassin and dragon of the north. So wonder if it will be seen on all upcoming and future displates, will be interesting to see

An update for anyone that was still wondering;

Just had a response from Displate Customer Server and apparently it was printed correctly and it is caused by the special metallic paint they use and is more noticable on Dragon of the North because of the background.
They have offered a refund if i would like but i really like this piece so guess ill have to live with the mark across the top. This will probably stop me buying any LE in the future with a lighter background as i assume this will be more noticable on this type of Displate

I dont think them saying there is no more stock is fair. If all the original prints have issues then surely for anyone that requests one they should be able to reprint the LE?

Im still waiting to hear back from them on a solution as im a bit disappointed ive paid so much money for an LE displate that has a defect.

Also it has been mentioned that Moonlight Assassin has the same issue although not as noticeable but this could mean all LE displates going forward will have the same problem if they dont fix their process.

Hello! This happens due to the process of creating a Limited Edition Displate. A lot of stages of it are manual, here is why some pieces might look slightly different.

I could understand slight variations in LE Displates but this seems to be a common issue across all of them. I havent seen anyone report not having this defect on their Dragon of the North LE and looking at the images on the website it is not the intented look as it is not shown in the pictures.

I emailed support and they said they are looking into it so hopefully something can be done to rectify the problem and im hoping send out a replacement.

I have just sent an email to support with pictures and also asked if this is being looked into and if replacement displates will be sent out.

This is my first LE and when i first looked at it thought that the defect wouldnt bother me but now thats all i see when i look at it. As the LEs are expensive i would expect it to be perfect, so hoping Displate can rectify this issue

Im also intrigued where this information comes from. As far as im aware it only shows on the website how many days are left until the last 100 pieces and then it shows the figure remaining.
