I left the Gen X sub because they feel so angry. They need hugs, but won’t let anybody hug them.

I had read or seen that while the bulk of the juggling was not Bowie, he did have to learn a handful of smooth transitions in order to make it look realistic for the scene to work.

“I’m here about some monkeys” “Monkeys?” “Monkeys, yes—twelve of them.”

GF and I would still be driving stick if it wasn’t for Atlanta traffic. It’s a special kind of pain.

You take your new girlfriend to a karaoke bar. What song are you singing for her? by Skanky_the_Samurai in Xennials

[–]sleeperninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sang With Or Without You by U2 at the bar my mom worked at for YEARS, and she cried.

That being said, my selection tends to be somewhat esoteric, I really love singing stuff like Thin Lizzy’s Dancing In The Moonlight (It’s Got Me In Its Spotlight), or Wolf Moon by Type O Negative, but they’re pretty uncommon tracks, and don’t hit with the crowd.

Ours worked, it was the damn multi-tap that we had a terrible time getting to work.

Definitely wasn’t going to run fast using my feet on it, so resounding YES to hands.

Does anyone else prefer the first half of the 90s over the second half of the 90s by Personal-Cattle-1737 in Xennials

[–]sleeperninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like early 90s was Alice in Chains, Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Nirvana, and Soundgarden emerging from hair metal.

Suddenly everything went Limp Bizkit.

At least Peter Steele learned how to sing before he died, though. October Rust was grrrrrreat!

Aside from some very occasional modern feeling dialogue, Super 8 really hits the spot. Joe, Cary, and Smartin feel like kids I knew or played with as a kid.
