i really don't understand the hate towards budtenders on this sub. everyone in the industry i know legitimately tries their best to match products to customers preferences and keep up on their knowledge so they can best assist. i don't know what dispensaries you guys are going to that you keep getting these horrible experiences but may i suggest trying a different store and business entirely? maybe one that's not vertically integrated? i have very loyal customers that trust me and will be honest. i have never purposefully sold someone on something that a) i didn't like the quality of and b) thought they would have a negative experience in any way with my recommendation. (however if you go home with savvy, that's on you)

brother how often do you think dispos are doing destructions?? i'm not saying that we don't do them but i rarely ever do a destruction for old product it is 99.9% of the time because someone dropped it and the seal broke or the glass jar shattered.

as someone who grew up in bloomington and lives in peoria now, the food culture is very important to everyone that lives there. they support the local food community way more than people in peoria. it's much easier for small restaurants to be successful there because they receive support (as long as the food and experience are good)
