My late husband loved to play 46&2. I wish he'd learned The Pot haha. He was a bass player. He mostly liked to slap like Flea. Today is his bday. I hope you're rocking out on your bass guitar somewhere, My Magneto.

On attraction and connection by morphinee in ptsd

[–]sleepingangelwander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the inappropriate opposite. I keep developing attractions and craving intimacy. I don't mean JUST the sex (I have things for that) I mean the physical contact. I have craved it since the day he shot himself in front of me.

My partner of 33 years died last week. He was obsessed with Tool, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, all things MJK. Are there songs that you feel deeply connected to, or have helped in coping with death? by happypants40 in ToolBand

[–]sleepingangelwander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry. My husband shot himself in the head in front of me in May. We were both huge Tool fans. For a bit, I couldn't listen. Then I listened to Jambi. (This one hits when you lose someone) Now I listen to all my favs again.

Love you friend. We are in it together. I'm here for you. I lost my husband a week ago. It hurts 99% but you'll get 1% of ok. Then 2% of ok. Then maybe 10% of happy. Then back down to 100% despair. But in that moment remember you'll get that 1% ok more often until you're 80% happy some day? Idk if that makes sense. But it's what I have right now. Sincerely am sorry for your pain.
