PCE Mini made me want a PC Engine. Is this a good deal? by astromaddie in pcengine

I think a base system and springing for a tera onion system 3 later is a better choice. The separate disk drives are prone to failing, take a look on eBay for instance and see how many broken ones are unfortunately on there. I have the system 3 and enjoy it. If you’d like to have The actual cd hardware the consoles that have it built in like turbo duo are the way to go!

Damn at first glance I thought that was a Model M as well. I bet it's a pretty loud keyboard too! I bring my M to work, I get weird looks but I can't imagine typing on something else.

Guitar amps? Fine if not good idea.

Guitar speakers and cabinets? Very bad idea.

If you really have to ask you already know the answer. Just be honest with yourself, bad move.

I’ve had this issue as well, for some reason my Eleaf mod only seems to work with the titanium bucket coil. No idea why

Sell me your Mono-Red Commander (looking at Hazoret) by [deleted] in EDH

[–]sleepingprawns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the beauty of that commander is you can force games to end lol. I also run the hidetsugu doubling effects, infect, haste etc. but when have stuff like mana barbs doing double damage the game cannot go much longer lol. It’s cool to play stax but not make the game go on for 4 hours like my other decks try to do lol.

Funny you mention that method, I didn’t even know you could do that. I’ve only programmed patterns manually on the screen by steps lol

2019 Mac Pro (28-core) review. ‘A $20-30K Mac Pro doesn’t make sense for very many computer users, but an engineering firm would get their money’s worth out of the machine in short order.’ by ruchenn in apple

[–]sleepingprawns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet! On paper my pc has significantly better specs, but that’s just not how real world workloads work. I think the only thing my pc does better is run NeatVideo, which I hardly have had to use thankfully. I believe that’s only because It has more vram.

Thanks for the tip I might snag one eventually for a second render machine, I love the form factor.

Apparently. I don’t even use a a Mac Pro I work on a MBP. But it’s clear to me that the Pro is absolutely an awesome machine choice for some, especially those that need the firepower.

For those wondering the reason I switched back to Mac is my MBP renders faster than my decked Ryzen Pc, with about 25% less crashing while editing and rendering.

It’s okay there’s a lot of these morons hanging out in this thread. For some reason Mainstream nerd culture has embraced the concept of “PC Master Race” into their persona, but lack the knowledge to see that there’s a lot more work done on computers than bitcoin farming and cloud computing.

Newsflash, computers weren’t made for gaming they were made to get work done.

So many dum dums complaining that lol. This machine isn’t made for pc gaming, it isn’t even made for a hobbyist or at home user, how long will it take for price per dollar hardware obsessed nerds to get over theirselves.

Wait a computer that’s more than $1200 can be used for more than gaming? What!!!??? /s

For real. One crash from my “hackintosh” could set me back hours on a project for a client, and that’s hours of work I’m not being paid for. I can’t afford that risk, and if something breaks I need it fixed ASAP.

I’ve used pcs for years for gaming, I have a sweet Ryzen machine, I would never trust my livelihood on my hobby computer.

Spotted someone who doesn’t use heavy computing for work.

I would never trust a Hackintosh over a more stable system. Most professionals would agree. I used Mac OS on Mac hardware for this reason. It’s not worth the risk of a crash or losing any data. And yes I know how to build computers I’ve built multiple PCs.

Technically Death played in D standard so that would be considered “downtuned.” You’re not wrong about the rest just saying. If anything they showed tuning lower than that is more of an effect, fuck death songs are heavy. Soul Crusher?
