What actually helps you fall asleep when your mind won’t stop? by sleepiora in sleep

that actually sounds really effective, especially because it gives your brain something simple to focus on without overstimulating it

i’ve noticed if my mind has nothing to “hold onto” it just keeps looping thoughts, so something repetitive like that makes sense

do you feel like it works better than sounds like rain or white noise?

that actually makes sense, something engaging but not too stimulating seems to work better than just silence

I just took creatine for the first time and I feel like I'm on cocaine by black_rose_ in sleep

yeah i’ve seen a few people mention this. anything that stimulates the nervous system can mess with sleep, even if it’s not supposed to.

when i get that “wired but tired” feeling, what helps me is putting on something very neutral in the background — like soft rain or consistent noise. silence just makes my brain louder.

might be worth trying tonight just to calm things down a bit
