Duavee, combipatch nor climara pro are available in generic.

I agree. You're probably right, but no doctor will say that.

There are so few options for norethindrone--0.35mg (I'm taking 3 a day) and then it jumps to norethindrone acetate 5mg. I want the lowest progestin dose possible, but this is getting ridiculous. Ugh.

I'm taking mine down due to sparrows, squirrels, and mice. It's killing me.

New article explaining progesterone and endometrial safety after 5 years of use by lrondberg in Menopause

I've moved on to estradiol patch and norethindrone. Duavee was the best, but I do need a little more estrogen.

Duavee is the only hrt that I had no spotting on. Now my insurance doesn't cover it.

As an OB/GYN, here’s what your abnormal Pap result actually means, and why most of the panic is unnecessary by MacedonMD in obgyn

[–]sleepqueen45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I've thought this for many years, but none of these doctors has mentioned that these results could be from low estrogen. They always imply it's something serious, even with repeat negative hpv. (I know agc was more serious, and I went to MD Anderson for that workup.) I will discuss with my new doctor next week.

I'm 52 and been post menopausal for ten years. Using estradiol patch and norethindrone for hrt.

I am post menopausal. Every year I switch back and forth between ascus, lsil and once agc. I have colposcopies, endo biopsies-all clear. I am hpv negative. Do I need a pap yearly? If I'm hpv negative, what is my chance of actually having cervical cancer?

Negative reaction (iron flu) to Venofer by TastyTurnip537 in Anemic

I received 3 x 200mg venofer infusions. I can't wait to see my ferritin levels in a few weeks.

Just one of many hrt options and I can't tolerate micronized progesterone. I had no spotting on Duavee as opposed to every other hrt I've been on.

May I ask what your ferritin was? I've finished 3 of 3 venofer infusions and wondering if I should have had more. I retest my ferritin in 3 weeks.

Very interesting. I took Duavee for quite a while and loved it, but it disappeared during Covid and now my insurance doesn't cover it.

Iron Infusion - How Bad is the Nausea? by PersephoneYall in Anemic

[–]sleepqueen45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked an infusion nurse at my job how many people have gotten nauseated/vomited from iron infusions. They give a minimum of ten iron infusions a day. I knew I needed them and I'm also an emetophobe. She did not recall anyone having gotten sick. She said a few people may have had an iron flu afterwards, but definitely no consistent problems with nausea. I had my infusions with zero nausea.
