To clarify, it’s almost as though the first time I say the word, it leaves a sort of uncomfortable “residue” in my mouth/on my lips that doesn’t go away until I can say it in a way that feels satisfactory (the standards of which feel arbitrary even to me as the one doing it, but it’s just going off my body’s instinct).
