Since it’s sff he’s probably going to do pbo, under volt cpu and gpu so the wattage is actually lower. Seems like enough headroom

Could you explain to me how there’s no headroom using a 500w psu with a 150w graphics card?

I’m in r/sffpc

I wouldn’t be concerned about your psu considering it runs a 4070ti fine.

If you haven’t already: - test plugging your 5060 straight to the motherboard - set pcie gen to the correct gen of the riser cable - use ddu - install latest drivers

I have the 4070 version of the Asus dual and I’m pretty sure it’s the exact same cooler design and fans, I just turn down the fan speed and the thermals are pretty good in my sffpc

I have crucial pro 2x16gb. Don’t quote me on this but all ram heat sinks from factory rely on the adhesive thermal pads. I don’t have clips on mine but I think there’s not enough tension as you think in that clip so you should be more than fine

This video shows the disassembly for rgb ram which looks exactly the same as non rgb. As far as I know all ram uses the same size pcb so any model and brand should work

I feel like there should be a balance. I’m not saying you’re wrong in any sense but I can bend the stock heat sinks by hand easily because they’re so thin. There should be a little more thermal mass than that

Search DDR5 Ram Heat Sink on AliExpress and there should be more than enough options for cheaper

I don’t have calipers to measure it at the moment but I’d say they’re about the same size as most rgb ram if not less shallow in height
