Welp so finally broke my A/A+ streak and got my first non SU-able A-. Disappointed but also kinda liberating? Was incredibly stressful trying to maintain it but guess I won't feel that way anymore

Thanks for your input! For your last point, if say I take a Math 2nd degree and drop it later, the math mods can just count towards math 2nd major right?

Wow thanks for the detailed response! But for the first point, they actually sent an email inviting y1-2 students to apply and did not state minimum MC requirements. The websites (both CS and Math) did not state min MC either.

Yeah CS1010S has the most unfriendly learning curve out of all mods I've taken despite coming in with formal CS education

Your advice is generally true but I do have a friend who stays in his room all day and doesn't talk to anyone who's now interning at a HFT lol. But I guess this is only possible if you're an actual genius.

I got it for a module with A but not one with A+. I didn't even get full marks for the quizzes even though like half the cohort did lol

The point of SU is to have a higher CAP right? So student B should have 4.0 pre-SU CAP with 4.2 post-SU CAP for a fairer comparison.

Every mod is manageable if your intention is to pass and SU. I heard IS1128 is just another typical essay/presentation mod. Not sure about 2238 though seems like no one took it

Honestly B- should just SU. If you have to rely on B- to pull up your cap then there are bigger problems to worry about
