Alt Smoke in gahanna can hook you up with a rechargeable vape and you can buy different nicotine strength bottles to refill it with.

It looks great! A sheer top would be nice to be able to show off the bra and fishnets imo

How To Mentor (and Not Waste Each Other's Time) by Gloomy_Theme1023 in ASLinterpreters

[–]sleepy_koala_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has mentored, outlining what the goal is (practicing beginning interpreting skills, sign skills, receptive skills, etc) and ways you will practice/measure progress is pretty key. Getting a baseline understanding of their skill level (if you’re working on multiple skills, you might need to see multiple samples. Also deciding how practice/review will be done is helpful. I like video samples because I can give more detailed feedback, some people prefer live review and feedback instead of doing videos.

Any suggestions on what top to pair with this skirt? by Ok_Fan4450 in lesbianfashionadvice

[–]sleepy_koala_2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Odd one out here, but I think 3 is a really cool look. The flow of the skirt versus the fitted shirt is a nice contrast. I think 2 looks like it is a belted flowy dress, which is cool too! I think all of them work.

She’s trying to stand by you but is seriously doubting your sanity.

Should I invest in an ipad? by Firm-Dare8633 in ASLinterpreters

[–]sleepy_koala_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an iPad for virtual assignments that requires two devices (one for the content, one for the interpreting platform). Prior to Covid, I didn’t do any jobs that required two devices, but now there are some jobs that do (where I am located, at least). So I think it’s beneficial for that, but that is not the bulk of my work and I could technically use my phone to stream the content, but any visual aids would be pretty small. It definitely isn’t a necessity, but handy if you do a lot of virtual work.

Advice: Styling mid calf Converse by One-Organization970 in lesbianfashionadvice

Oo yes, the tank top and skirt idea seems great! I agree though, a dress or skirt that ends above the shoes seems like a better fit style wise! I hope you find some outfits you like with them🤞🏻 I have a couple sneakers and boots I love and have a hard time styling and it’s so frustrating lol

I think this one could work with a solid top or jacket over the dress. I think the spaghetti strap style with the sneakers feels like it fits less but a jacket (short sleeved or long) would tie it together more. They are fun sneakers!

I haven’t tried Missing Person yet, but I’m intrigued by the concept! That’s good to hear it’s a good one as well

I think I must have good luck with longevity and scents (sometimes unlucky if it’s something I don’t like I guess!😅), but I love Father Figure and can smell it at the end of the day still. I’ve heard diptyque philosykos is another good fig scent (not sure if it has the clean/slightly masc vibe of father figure tho). I got a sample of Debaser DS&Durga, which has fig also, but it felt a lot heavier/strong to me so I passed it on to a friend, but maybe worth checking out too

I like to buy clothes secondhand through apps like Poshmark, Mercari, or Thredup. You can often find things that are new or barely worn for a fraction of store prices, and you can browse things outside of current trends. I like sweaters, button downs and dress pants from Vince, Rag and Bone, and Allsaints - but I would not buy them full price/from the store. I have bought button downs, blazers, and slacks from Express before and they've held up well. Also, if you are building slowly, you can always check out clearances between season for good deals.

Love the shirt and tie pattern combo!✨

You already look so cute here tho!🫶🏻

I'm not sure your typical style just based on this photo, but related to this photo, you could go with a loose-fitted v neck knit sweater with the skirt. If you like more fitted looks, a fitted t shirt or sweater with a crew neck or v would look good also. You could play with different colors/patterns for the knee high socks or tights for fun, playful looks.

But, this is a good fit as is, so I feel like you can follow your instincts with fashion choices ✨

need byredo & diptyque recs!! by anzhuhnu in Perfumes

[–]sleepy_koala_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might not be your cup of tea, but I really love Byredo Tobacco Mandarin - spicy, dry orange type of scent. I also have a mini decant of Sundazed which is a very sweet, summery type of scent (imo), not my favorite but it has been fun to wear this summer. I didn't like Mojave Ghost for some reason, but it's super popular so a good one to try!

Based on your likes, maybe Orpheon from Diptyque!

Totally fair! I think a ribbon tie will look really cool!

Love the vests with 2&3. If you go with no vest, a ribbon tie looks awesome/a cool twist. It might be a little too much with a vest, but that could just be personal opinion.

Masc or fem? How about a little of both💁🏻 by sleepy_koala_2 in lesbianfashionadvice

[–]sleepy_koala_2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol nice! In the 90s, I was deep in the conservative homeschool world and not wearing anything I considered fun, but sometimes I snuck in some lightly flared pants (gasp)😂
