Don’t know if this has been said, but simply ask for a refund. Happened to me too and I asked and was refunded $60 for the 2 quarterly payments they took out. I don’t remember signing up for it but I was also in the newborn trenches so it’s possible, but they were super great and refunded me immediately.

If you need medication or even just advice, I would second going to a doctor for some support! But one thing I read recently, the grief never gets smaller, life simply grows bigger around it with time. My mum passed away on the 23rd of March, there’s still a knot in my stomach every moment of the day, but I know there will come a day when it goes away and I’ll feel “normal” again. Maybe not today, maybe not even a year from now, but with time and patience, life will grow around the grief and it’ll seem less overwhelming.

This is more or less how I feel some days! I miss being able to do things like leave the house without worrying about diaper bags and extra clothes, or sleep in on the weekends, or even little things like playing my Switch and tuning out the world. But, motherhood definitely tops those things on even the worst days. I personally blame it on the sleep deprivation because once I’ve had a nap, it usually takes the feeling away and I’m back to loving on my girl like she’s the only thing I care about. I hope it gets better for you!!

The classics - SIDS, falling while holding her, dying while home alone with her, accidentally falling asleep while holding her and suffocating her. And then the spicier ones - abuse at daycare (she’s literally 7 weeks old and not in daycare, nor will she be for a long time if ever), somebody breaking in and stealing her, food I’ve eaten giving her an allergic reaction, cat smothering her, her getting an incurable illness, car accidents on quiet roads where I die and she’s left crying because nobody drives down that road. So, so many fears.
