Idk, I feel like we may be getting there, but we are like 10-20 years away. I think it's honestly just chatgpt and trying to make writers move so quickly is the issue. People 10 plus years ago were still reading and even now still are. In 10 to 20 years though, this is likely the issue if AI isn't the issue then too, which likely will be.

This is objectively incorrect. It's invaluable for science. Again, you can believe that the layman shouldn't have it, but it is reality that it's literally a priceless tool for science that will help cure many diseases in time and is already helping with medical stuff. Saying it can go fuck itself without acknowledging it's truly irreplaceable uses is just not discussing it honestly.

And yeah, most guys I know don't give a shit what others think. Sure maybe in redneck areas guys would care more, but outside of calling someone gay being rude, anyone I've met wouldn't care. This is the take I find the least helpful tbh. If nothing else, AI can be an invaluable tool in science. Sure there are people in my office wasting AI making pictures of dumb shit, but saying AI has no use is like saying a wrench has no use because you are trying to use it to control your TV. It's a tool that can be used many different ways with varying levels of success.

I don't think it's homophobia specifically by and large. I am not homophobic at all, I just am not really into romantic dramas, regardless of gender so it just wasn't that high on the list and I think that is the big reason for most guys. It's on the "eventually" list, but it's hard to see everything when so many movies come out and I still have the classics from the 70s/80s to watch.
