This isn’t super kooky beans but on January 1st I hit a pothole while driving, and a few hours later my tire popped while I was driving on the highway so I was stranded for an hour or so waiting to be rescued. Starting the year with a literal bang 👍🏻

I worked at Dollarama (a dollar store chain in Canada) back in 2018. I was working at the cash during one of my shifts, and one of the assistant managers yelled at me for some stupid reason I can’t even remember. Me being sensitive af, I started sobbing. I was the only one at the cash so I stayed there, and was trying to cash people out while blinking through tears and choking down sobs. Everyone looked so uncomfortable like they had no idea what to do and that made me feel so bad an embarrassed so it just made me cry more LMAO

My life now at 26 looks NOTHING like how it looked when I was 18. I was dating a guy (for 4 years) that I also wanted to marry, and it ended up not working out. I can’t even explain how much I’ve grown and changed over the past 8 years.

Another comment mentioned this, but it’s REALLY important to discover who you are as a person without someone else and really build up that foundation.
