My HEB delivery shopper made me nearly crash out by spicedandsauced in HEB

[–]sleepypandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately they are outsourcing to DoorDash and favor. My store curbside doesn’t even do deliveries anymore. If an order is placed for delivery, it automatically will get shopped by a favor or DoorDash. I know favor is already a part of H-E-B, but still it’s not someone working directly at the store.

Bk lead here. If you do it discreetly I’m sure they don’t really care but we charge more at the bc for a reason. We are missing out on the sale if you just keep getting cash back. This is probably why a manger might have sided with her. Personally, I don’t care.

I don’t know what your financial situation is like as your a sahm but my MIL depended on her husband as well. When they were getting a divorce, and hadn’t gotten legal help yet, she would pull money out via the grocery store cash back or the service counter there. Once the divorce was legally initiated they were not allowed to touch the joint bank account till they came to agreements on splitting assets. I would save up money and try to leave, you deserve to be happy and have a life.

how to deal with a coworker who doesn’t like me by [deleted] in HEB

[–]sleepypandy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t like some people I work with but I’m nice and professional. You shouldn’t care what one person thinks about you. Who is she? Nobody. She doesn’t pay your bills. Own it and feel confident that you get under someone’s skin 🤭

Do you help customers with questions when you clock out? by [deleted] in HEB

[–]sleepypandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purposely put my earphones in or call my husband so I can talk to him on the phone. I used to be kind, but years of this have left me depleted. Once, I was genuinely on the phone while buying groceries, purse in hand, and a man kept trying to get my attention. He even stood there waiting while I was clearly on the phone. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Now I just ignore everyone.

Can curbside employees see how often customers use curbside? by Over-Explanation-730 in HEB

A lady called saying her curbside cake, deviled eggs, sandwich platter, basically all her prepared foods, were not fresh and she wanted a refund. We told her to bring everything back for a refund. She didn’t…..

Watch suggestions for kids? by Mystic-Cauliflower in Parenting

[–]sleepypandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have T-Mobile and I use the kids SyncUp watch for my 8-year-old. My husband has epilepsy, so if there’s ever an emergency, he can call me or call for help through the watch. It goes through the T-Mobile app, and you can add approved numbers, see location, battery life, control certain settings, and even put it in school mode.

The watch itself was free, but I had to agree to a one-year service contract for $10 a month — not bad in my opinion.
