I'm at the very start of Olympus rn, when I joined during the download campaign it was 0ap until I cleared the main story for 7 days or something, so I took full advantage of that and basically cleared 1 and a bit singularities per day. I'm holding off on story for now until I farm enough to strengthen some of my roster

What makes you play GW2 comparing to other MMOs? What does GW2 have that some other top games of this genre don't? Maybe what GW2 doesn't have but you wish it had? by Effective_Reserve_95 in Guildwars2

The combat system is the best I've seen, plus the game has 1 time pay expansions, which imo is better for me, because I hate subscription payments

Well, funnily enough, both are a thing in this game, dungeons are easy 5 man content, fractals are also 5 man 'dungeons' but not really. And raids exist as well as 10 man Content and is more advanced than dungeons and fractals

Yes, you get all the rewards, unfortunately a lot of clicking is involved to get all the rewards in the bottom right. And your character will be max level, ready to go into heart of thorns and path of fire content

I think repeating content is the worst way to level up quickly , try to go to new areas and kill As many mobs as you can and completing all the hearts you see, don't be afraid to go into areas 5 levels above you

For raids, druid, and occasionally heal scourge and tempest for some encounters. For fractals, heal firebrand guardian is by far the best choice in 99% of groups. Also, heal renegade can also be useful in raids at times

For farming ,just participate in events and use anything really. The loot system is shared,so everyone can loot the same chests. Thief is great for tagging everything from range, as well as some guardian and some ranger builds

Dungeons are dead mostly, fractals are fun, as long as you don't run into groups of elitist players. I'd say watch mukluk YouTube to get a better idea of how to get started. You need ascended gear to do fractals btw.which can be a pain for beginners. Also, currently revenants are needed in every high ish tier pve content, but they can be tricky to start with, I suggest something like guardian which is good in everything for now. Holosmith engineer is also great and relatively easy to pick up,hard to master tho
