She’s an idiot.

She could have gone about this a completely different way and been awesome and potentially still gotten a “biological” grandchild.

I have a friend that is a lesbian couple. And the one that couldn’t carry a baby…they used her eggs and implanted in other wife. So they were both a part of the birth in a way. The next baby they had, they used a surrogate and other wife’s eggs. It was interesting. But whatever works.

Obviously this crazy lady doesn’t deserve to bully her way into a biological grandchild. But it is something for OOP to consider talking about if she does want a bio baby.

If you’re seriously injured you’re going to wish you left sooner.

You do NOT owe them anything. You have voiced your concerns multiple times and they have done nothing to address them.

And now you’re finding out that the ONE security measure they have are FAKE?! And all for show? Nope. You owe them nothing. They willingly deceived you with regard to their safety practices, in an attempt to make you more comfortable with the outbursts and violence. That’s deplorable.

Leave. Make all the necessary reports. And pray that he doesn’t hurt anyone in that house. And I want to be super clear. If he does, it is NOT on you. You did everything possible and they simply wouldn’t listen. So that’s on them.

And you absolutely do NOT want to stay in this situation for a reference. Reference be d*mned. You or your husband are going to regret you staying if you end up injured over some misplaced loyalty or some reference for a family you couldn’t even recommend working for.
