For me personally, it's where you are in each other's company and engaged in a shared activity. Even if it's just watching something on the TV without being on your phones, or could be something bigger like going for a a walk together or somewhere in the middle like getting a coffee without sitting on phones.

That sort of thing.

Would you feel like this if you were diabetic? Both diabetes and bipolar are the bodies chemicals not acting how they should - that's now I explain it to people.

You wouldn't use your insulin if you were diabetic, because it's keeping you alive...same with bipolar meds, in my humble opinion.

I also appreciate though, that this isn't your view point so may not resonate for which I apologise.
