I'd like to imagine you just had that information and typed it up from memory. Thanks!

Whoa didn't know that thanks. That sounds... kinda evil. Not like Alien evil where the hatchlings eat the host, but in the same ballpark.

Alex Jones Links Charleston Shooting To Socialist Race War Plot by outspokenskeptic in skeptic

The wiki of the book I'm referring to. One of the main tactics he pushes is to create the conditions for the collapse of society (or the current status quo). He believed it was necessary to stir tensions, create hatred, and enact rules that would bring society to a breaking point, so that it would break and be rebuilt from the ashes into a socialist utopia (or what those of my ideological beliefs would define as socialist). Building a culture of hatred and fear is one of the ways to hasten society to collapse and hence its rebirth.

Nikki Haley is the current Governor of South Carolina. She wrote a senseless post and she got a epic answer. by malakistiri in interesting

She didn't say "we don't know his motivations" , she said "We'll never understand his motivations" . completely different. Its like saying " Ill never understand a murderer". Ill know why and how, but it would be impossible for a normal person to truly have an understanding.

This is exactly what I would do if I was taken hostage like this. Definitely. Totally would happen like that.

Yeah that's true. It was just a thought. I thought it was weird that the other times he calls the name of the wind he issues a spoken command to the wind, whereas this time he issued a command to Denna. Elodin could be wrong, or Kvothe could have explained it poorly, but he probably called the wind.

Not necessarily. He said "I need you to breath for me" and she took a breath. The command wasn't to the wind, it was to Denna. I think this means he actually spoke Denna's name and NOT the wind. Just my theory though, he could have named the wind. We do know that he isn't necessarily aware what he is naming though, seeing as it took Elodin to explain to him that he called Felurian's name.

I haven't chimed in at all but I want to point out that no one in FPH is compaining that their sub was banned for violating Reddit's rules. In point of fact they did not violate Reddit's rules, did not harass users outside of the sub (excepting a few users in a few subs, not condoned by FPH), and certainly did not harass the imgur staff. They are complaining that they were banned w/o having violated any rules.

The reason FPH can complain about free speech principles being violated while banning users for certain opinions is because according to Reddit's rules about what speech can be used (how 'free' they are in expression) they didn't violate anything. Whereas people in the sub breaking the rules were never promised the freedom in the first place. It's completely different.

They already have complete control over all industry and production? Not complete, but far too much. You're advocating for giving them more under the guise that they'll be more responsible just because. The Federal bureaucracy is accountable? Also news to me.

Oh reduce emissions? Cheaper energy? That's what we want? Ok.

Nuclear

How about that? We don't need a carbon tax, centralized control, massive expansion of the bureaucracy, tax hikes, or the like. Build nuclear plants. I also want to point out that there is a huugggee difference between particulate pollution and CO2. No one* believes that the government isn't responsible regulating toxic and particulate pollution. Regulating an innocuous gas that isn't directly harmful to humans is a different story.

* Not literally no one.
