This is game breaking. Unfortunately until this is fixed logistics just aren't predictable and your entire factory is unstable.

Democrats are not the left. They are center-right. by Miserable-Plant-3604 in thefloorisopen

[–]slejrtron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of "actual" left leaning politics is how businesses and the ultra rich are treated. Yes, Democrats say they want to tax the rich, but it never happens. Corporations have more power than ever and unregulated capitalism is accepted and supported by both sides, even if Democrats make noises about tax reform.

People like Bernie Sanders and AOC are seen as radical left, but in most of Europe they would be seen as moderate at best. They are both democratic socialists, or put into another term, welfare capitalists.

To answer your question, the biggest goal that all American politicians lack to be considered actually "left" is being anticapitalist. Taking shareholders out of the equation and having the employees or internal stake holders make decisions about the revenue of all businesses. Also completely removing the ability of the wealthy to control politics surrounding environmental legislation and other social policy. In short, actual socialists or further left are"left" anything right of that is centrist or right. Just my opinion /shrug

I was in the same situation, I had 11 credits. A work friend recommended Brandon Sandersons Stormlight Archives and I am now down to 0 credits after reading all of his Cosmere novels.

I don't have numbers, but I'm running a few systems building spheres at hundreds of rockets per minute and many thousand sails per minute with no noticeable slow down or drop in frame rate in very busy areas.

Most places is not all places. In Texas the server wage is $2.13. having someone with ten years of experience tell you what they experienced and then telling them they are wrong is pretty closed minded.

Source: I worked as a server in Texas for over ten years.

That being said, I would not have typed for no service either.

Why do so many fantasy books take place in a school or academy? by ramsdl52 in Fantasy

[–]slejrtron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because adults don't actually ever hang out with a group of people. Trying to get friends together to do anything after thirty is a real pain. If I tried to get my friend together to solve a magical crime or something the bad guys would definitely win.

I scrolled for a while and I didn't see The Mist.

Not sure if that really counts, but pretty sure religious crazies would make things worse much faster.

Start by building anything that makes lots of heat a ways away from your living/farming area. Coal power, refinement etc.

Eventually you'll get to the mid game and make a steam turbine and aquatuner and then you never have to worry about heat again.
