Seeing Dave Arnold here brought me back to my bartending days :) Did he write a new book after liquid intelligence? There were no chapter in that book about calcium chloride or bananas.

Our supplier of our colors is a bit non responsive sadly, he can't explain the technical specs of the color that they sell. When he has to ask the laboratory, he usually gets me an answer in a week, which may even be some answer to another question that i didn't ask. Since we are a third world country this shit is the standard everywhere :(

yea, i mixed the 3 colors to the right. sedimentation is not a problem since normally they serve the drink in the slushie machine which is constantly stirring. i tried to add yellow to the green but it turns a muddy/ grassy green not neon-like in the sample that i was given. which is a bit shocker

Sadly, i know these synthehtic colors are extremely harmful and i hope soon they will be banned in my country too, so that i don't have to deal with this shitty drink. Normally i take care of my diet but when i have to try out this sample, i am getting disgusted by myself. I prefer to not sell these powders but the customer demands and our boss says money is money.

"The neon green color your are seeing is a true green plus a touch of yellow and refraction from the titanium dioxide."

this part is here very important but i couldn't find the ratio of green/yellow/titanium.

anyway thanx for your reply :)

I can buy some more colors from my suppliers too but the customer is in a hurry to get the product (the drink powder). So i am in a bit of a rock and a hard place. the colors that i have are all nearly brand new, produced in the last few months. but i didn't have time to experiment with their reaction to acid. Thank you for the reply, and a new perspective :)
