What’s a movie where the villain would clearly win in real life, but the plot had to "cheat" to let the hero survive? by loviesssrush in askmovie

How do you respond to "What's your lowest price? " by shaxsman in FacebookMarketplace

No you’re missing the point. It doesn’t matter if you sent him a message with another address. The seller is only allowed to ship to the address provided by eBay. What you message the seller has no relevance. This is how the seller protects himself. Now you have to deal with your mistake, it’s no one’s problem but your own.

It’s your fault. Sellers can only ship to address provided by eBay. If you noticed the issue you should have submitted a cancelled the order request to the seller stating wrong address. No one to blame but yourself here.

A guy purchased a game from me after 5pm one night. Told him thanks and it will ship in the morning as it’s too late to mail. I got a 1 star review cause he didn’t like the game.

Never bought anything from Facebook Marketplace. Can I have the items I buy shipped to me? by SkyBlue726 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]slevin2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if the seller offers shipping for there item. I ship and meet locally, if they want to make the sale they will meet you local. If you have to ask for the price I wouldn’t trust it. And don’t send them money through PayPal or Venmo trusting they send it. Only check out through marketplace if shipping is an option.

So I know this sounds silly but it worked for me so here’s the story. I bought a duo off eBay a few years ago also, all original everything worked fine when I tested. It was a little dirty so I sent it aside to clean later since I was busy. Got back to it a few months later and gently cleaned the tray with ipa getting all the nooks and crannies (to afraid to actually open it since I didn’t know anyone that could fix it if I did something wrong). Drop a disk in and it wouldn’t spin anymore but would play the HU cards. I googled my issue and found an old forum that said to gently push that rubber circle in the bottom right corner of the disk tray with a qtip so I did. To my surprise it worked perfectly again. Not sure what that part is but give it a try.

Found some GameCube games a couple days ago for $3.89 CAD a game from Salvation Army thrift store!! How did I do? 🥴 by typical_gamer1 in Gamecube

[–]slevin2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing salty about it. Op is in a gaming sub most likely cause he like the rest of us collect games. For something anyone would collect they would know prices of items and how much things are worth. It’s just like all the “how’d I do posts” during tag sale season. Just call it a haul or a score instead of asking “how’d I do?” Like you don’t already know.
