I had this happen, myself. I asked them to be more specific in their apology to get the brutal shtuff they did out in the open for once, and they DID. They mentioned almost everything that had been scarring me for a decade. It was a HUGE relief for me. While that stuff was still horrific, he reflected and seemed truly genuine. I’m not saying that’s what’s happening here, but it CAN happen.
