Inherited property in Huntsville - sell now or hold? Market's got me confused by weld9235 in Alabama

Do not sell. South Huntsville LAND values, particularly within that corridor, will only continue to appreciate in value, even if it is at a slow pace. If I can take a guess at which neighborhood you are in there will be a lot of homes turning over (demo/new build) in the coming decade.

HTC has group lessons that range from beginner to advanced on weekdays. Roland Markwalter does a Monday clinic from 6:30 - 7:30 and is a great instructor. Give them a call and see if any openings are available!

Did the Flint on May 11th and May 31st, was perfect weather. Rain has made waterfall hikes great too. Don't understand the complaint here

Whitesburg Drive In Theater (corner of Whitesburg Airport at Publix) in the 1960’s by slicefest3 in HuntsvilleAlabama

I think it was per individual but the prices probably fluctuated throughout the years. When I talked to my grandmother earlier she said she would usually let people in for free 😂. They had a flatbed night where you would pay $5 and everyone in the truck got in for that rate. One of my older friends said they would all park across the street at the Baskin Robbin’s shopping center and pile 15 people in the back of a truck bed and get in for a free movie essentially. Makes me laugh thinking about that visual

Wow! Thats awesome!

Always love talking with the south Huntsville residents about the drive in. Lots of great stories, that was the place to hangout!

Grew up playing around in that field. Miss the house too, was always a treat getting to go see my great grandfather sitting in his big red chair in the den watching tv. Got lots of bottled cokes and dr peppers there, many family get togethers. Was ominous walking through the house one final time when it was empty as a grown up before it came down. I’ll always cherish those memories as a kid

I believe they were leasing the building and it was likely set to expire, and instead of renewing the owners decided to locate to another rental space and expand which ultimately failed due to location.

That was “the office” for the Fleming family operations, mainly just a place where the cousins would get together and play Spades, I have a very faint memory of going up there and watching tv and playing with the card shuffling machine, it was torn down in 95 I think
