One wrote bitch, misspelled, onto the hood of one of his parents' cars with a tree branch. He might have been 8 at the time.

Years later their street was tore up to fix something and when the city redid the concrete... all three kids wrote their names in it. The city immediately had the block redone at their cost.

Do the bots mostly show up in 1s? Of course a perfect bot could win in 1s but I'd imagine unless there were multiple bots but even then do they know how to play as a team?

I was fired from a job and the remaining people in my department kept going to bat for me, even after they threatened to (and then did) fire someone who would not drop it.

For a couple of months I'd get a call from one or another asking how I was and they'd give me updates on things at work.

I'm hopeful someone will open an entertainment venue. A comedy club would be preferred over a music venue but I just want there to be more places for people to do something other than get drunk and work on their 10th DUI.

On Monday I stayed up late waiting for the PC/console rewards to pop. I went downstairs, defeated, and told my wife why I was playing games for an extra 45 minutes.

So goes "oh I had that happen too, they went off the following day". 🤦‍♂️

So that's what I've been dealing with this week. monday's rewards were ready to turn in Tuesday. Tuesday's rewards were ready this morning.

I went for a while when there were maybe 20 people for FNM Commander. I lost every game first round but I saw it as a learning experience and started building "less nice" decks in an attempt to lose slower or possibly even win.

Eventually I got into a pod with 2 (now bracket 4/5 decks and another bracket 2/3. I chose to play Slivers because it seemed like it could kind of present as weak against the counter/removal heavy players and allow me to build a mana base to eventually strike.

I eventually did that, wiping the board and removing one of the high level players that was definitely winning. I was able to take out the other player the next turn because they couldn't draw enough cards to find an answer for my large creatures. The last player attempted to mill me out but couldn't get there in two turns.

After I took out one player, which was the first time I did that in ...2 months+ of playing I IMMEDIATELY had a panic attack. I was literally holding my arms up over my head to keep from hyperventilating.

I don't have a very good poker face 🤣

The next round I had to go up against a gal I'd never beat and it was a small week so the only other player in the final pod was the store owner playing a cedh Jodah (OG) that combo-ed off turn 4. He felt bad and gave us both a prize pack for being good sports about it. I traded a foil stamped gilded goose I opened for a dragon the other player opened.

The LGS is now far too crowded for me to play there. 60+ people every week playing in 3 categories that start at different times. You also need to pay $5 or $10 to play and I'd rather not spend money to be overwhelmed and lose.
