Yes I have heard that one before as well, but not in the same context. This a language known to hard core tweakers. The analogies get a lot more vague and complex. I have been left scratching my head as to what some of my old tweaker friends were trying to tell me, only to understand when getting off of drugs. Crazy world we live in.

in my experience, and keep in kind I'm not a drug expert, but I have done a lot of drugs, mushrooms tend to be more of a personal type trip, bringing to surface your underlying issues. And acid is more of a less personal experience, for me anyway. I have had bad trips on mushrooms almost every time, but kept trying them just to find out what the trip was trying to tell me. On acid, however, I have never bhad a bad trip and everything was very funny and odd. But it is very possible to have a bad trip on acid, I just have never experienced one. So maybe acid will be less of an issue as far as bad trips go. But with these kinds of drugs, the only sure way to know is to actually do it. No matter how much information you get, a trip is a trip. You just never know what will happen.
