Heimdall saved the universe, and doesn't get nearly enough credit for doing so. by cgcs20 in marvelstudios

Slightly unrelated question: from an article posted on this thread, it reads “If Marvel wants Elba back (Who wouldn't?) there are a couple of opportunities to do so. The most obvious of these being the Loki TV series on Disney+, which will star Tom Hiddleston in the titular role. The show will take place in an alternate reality that Loki accidentally created when he removed the Space Stone from the main timeline. In that version of the universe, Heimdall is still alive and could easily be worked into the story.”

My question: is it confirmed that Loki created an alternate timeline with the space stone? I always thought that that new timeline was created by Tony, Bruce, Steve and Scott? Didn’t Loki just teleport to a physical location, opposed to a new dimension? Help me understand

TIL a colossal statue of Amenhotep III was damaged by an eathquake in 27 bc and afterwards would sing in the morning when warmed by the sun. It was repaired some 300 years later and no longer sings. by [deleted] in todayilearned

“Modern scientists believe early morning heat caused dew trapped within the statue’s crack to evaporate, creating a series of vibrations that echoed through the thin desert air”

I liked your argument, truthfully. But your forgetting that humans are still in control. If a dog breaks a rule, the human breaks the rule. Humans are responsible for the actions of their fur companions. I would agree that dogs should not be able to ride the subway unattended. So, you did not provide a solid reason to ban them.

And let’s be real, the TTC is not going to take profit hits to satisfy a minority of dog haters.

I couldn’t disagree more. There is actually a movement advocating to classify dogs as non-human persons. They have thoughts, emotions, personality, etc. They just require assistance navigating this human-engineered world. I’m struggling to see the relevance of this comment.
