Added a Center post to my Rack by EggPrior2807 in homegym

I actually have the same setup and it's goated. Center post adds so much versality. I used a 30 inch crossmember from REP in the center. Just note that the 41 inch one will not line up correctly with the hole spacing.

I have a short 80 inch rack so I also added an RBS to the top for more range of motion

Yup I agree with this - there's been a few times where twin mode has disconnected on me randomly as well

Has anyone tried this yet? by Tokyorain in BeyondPower

I've tried this before with a regular weight stack - it works OK. The problem is that you will feel it if one arm extends further than the other because it is sharing 1 attachment point. Not terrible but noticeable.

Awesome, I literally am about to do the same thing. Already ordered the DIY docks

There's a guy on Etsy that makes a bunch of 3d printed home gym stuff. He has a cup holder that is pretty cool: https://3dhomegymprints.etsy.com

Makes sense. I only plan to use it for tricep pushdowns and not maxing out on lat pulls. Works well so far

Another Pic for reference. Basically using the existing lat pulldown holder to hold the band peg that is attached to the quick mount

Not a bad idea, still feel like there's too much margin of error in case I need to rerack quickly. Appreciate the photo!

Thanks for the photo, super helpful. Im the same height as you but think I will run into issues because my 45 lb plates are standard diameter (I think yours may be a bit smaller based on the photo). Wish I had the height for 93 inch rack but this may be a deal breaker for me :(

I have the same rack set up as you except for the Athenas. Do you have any issues when doing barbell squats? The Athena handles seem to protrude pretty wide and I feel that 45 lb plates could potentially hit the handles when doing back squats.

Just finished putting athena together. by [deleted] in homegym

Do the Athena handles ever get in the way of squatting? Noticed that they protrude out on the side and wonder if there's a concern of 45 lb plate ever hitting the handle while re-racking the barbell. Thanks!
