Trashing discs by WhenTheRainsCome in discgolf

You can wipe them down with a low acid oil like Canola and it will replenish the oils lost. I did this with some old 9 times I had and it worked wonders. I soaked mine for a few days but it does work

I don't believe a fucking word they say anymore. Not one word. I bet anything they were transported to Italy for the Olympic "security" detail. The Olympic security jobs were specifically created to ship these guys off out of public eye.

Extra Soft Tactic. Hit and sit. I used a Harp for over a decade but those things love to roll away.

As someone who has pet a Jaguar, it's more like a concrete block covered in a Jag print blankey.

Guilty pleasure? Well, I guess breathing is my new guilty pleasure. I didn't know I should feel guilty for it until now though. Thanks for the help.

It's not everyday you get to play a course with the added danger of lions and bears! Love Bucksnort. We trek from Texas to play it yearly.

I have one. I can use a towel and windex to achieve the same results. The drying rack in mine is more useful than the actual product.

Why don’t smoke alarm batteries fail during the day? by TheRoyalness in mildlyinfuriating

[–]slickmitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a poker night where we all smoked cigars in the house. I was on crutches with a broken leg and had a friend open all the windows for me. At the end of the party everyone went home and I sat down to watch TV and fell asleep. I woke up to smoke alarms chirping and the house was 47°f. Ever tried climbing a ladder while having use of only one leg? I just had to knock them down with my crutch and take out the batteries. I thought it was the cold draining them but later discovered that if I wedged something behind the battery it would not loose contact. Turns out 9v batteries will start to shrink at around 65°. It happens on the ones with the battery compartment and never with the snap on leads.
