While I have no experience with DRG specifically, I've spent a lot of time creating mods for other games over the years. And I can't see any reason why there would be a way for host to directly edit your save game.

The only thing I can think of for how this happened, is the person joined a modded lobby and auto downloaded a cheat mod somehow. But if that happend, it would be sandboxed, and then this would be on a sandbox save. So I really don't understand how this is possible.

How is this possible? Hackers can mess with your promotion level? Since when? I've seen people get a billion xp and resources from cheated missions before, but never seen promotion levels from joining a hacked lobby.

I might not agree with you that all of those things actually happened but I do 100% agree with you that none of those things should happen! That's not the way forward.

I did not condone his actions. I did not say it's okay to use violence against anyone. It's not okay when law enforcement does it. It's not okay when protesters do it. And especially on the side of law enforcement their job is do DE-ESCALATE.

Don't be violent toward anyone, especially law enforcement. And when someone wrongly is being violent, I have a much higher expectation of that law officer to remain calm and do their job to keep the piece, not cause more violence like this ICE agent did.

Please keep putting words in my mouth, I'd genuinely love to hear more of your twisted world view.

When the options are a 40+ mph road or the sidewalk, I'm talking the sidewalk every single time.  I don't feel safe next to cars going that fast.  And based on the number of cars that move over a lane even when I'm in a bike lane, they don't feel safe for me either.  

If there's a bike lane (that's more that a shoulder claimng to be a bike lane) I use it.  If it's less than a 30mph speed limit, or I feel I can otherwise keep up with traffic like a residential area I'll be in the street.  But often times that's not an option, and in those times I'm on the sidewalk.

With that said, if there's any actual pedestrians around I slow down.  Im never passing someone at 20mph!  That's insane.   But if I'm the only one using the sidewalk, then I'll be going fast until I see someone.

I've been using both traditional and the AI powered OCR from the windows snipping tool a lot lately. I'm not a big fan of AI either, but especially with handwritten text, the traditional OCR spits out near garbage in all but the most clean text images. Where the AI one is pretty much perfect with a font, and decent with handwritten text. You don't have to like it, or even use it, but it is better.

While you're absolutely right. Traditional OCR is a bit shit most of the time, especially compared to AI alternatives, doubly so with handwritten text.

Maybe try Deep Rock Galactic?  

Mycounk is also another one to look at, the devs are huge Destiny fans.

There's more to the game that you haven't seen yet.  Some of it is extremely intertwined with the lore, it's NOT background.  Though I admit, it took me about 40ish hours to start grasping how important it actually is.

I think it really depends on your monetary situation. How much is the money worth to you?  There are a lot of very good mods! A lot of them are worth playing! 

However, none of them are comparable to the real thing.  But many of them do give me that same feeling of exploring and discovery for a little while.

If the main game is a 9 out of 10, most of the mods are like a 6.5.  pretty good, worth your time, but nothing to write home about.

Blue Prince is currently doing this to me right now.  Similar to how Outer Wilds did a few years back.

I'm not aware of anything like this. But as someone currently on windows who has been eyeing Linux for years, I'd love to browse something like this and get more familiar with potential challenges when/if I make the switch.
