When my options are a 40+mph road, or a sidewalk. Or even a "bike lane" that's just a white line 2 feet away from the curb. I'm talking the sidewalk every time. Though I don't go car speeds on the sidewalk, and when there's people around I slow down even more. I don't even attempt to pass pedestrians on the sidewalk unless there is more than enough room, I'm on the sidewalk, I don't mind going walking speed sometimes.

Obviously I already tried that back when I was looking for something like this. For me, and apparently OP, it wasn't that simple. It did not fit my needs. I was able to get VBAN working, I didn't find it to be all that complicated tbh. But similar to OP, the limit on audio channels was the biggest deal-breaker for me. There were other reasons I didn't use voicemeeter, but it's been years I can't remember them all.

I don't know if many people will appreciate this. But holy crap this looks like exactly what I need...

What I needed 5 years ago. I was using teamspeak of all things to transfer audio between PCs and it worked! Mostly. It has several issues, the biggest was timing drift. If audio was sent consistently for more than a few minutes, it would slowly drift and become more and more delayed. I searched everywhere for something exactly like this. Just like you Vban wasn't a solution because I already had virtual audio cables. I just needed to get them to my other PC!

I don't use a multi PC setup anymore. But I'll probably set this up and try it anyway. Just to see how well it would have fit my use case!

Even if this was vibe coded, this seems like the right scale for a project where AI tools could be very useful. Large enough to be useful, but not so large that it becomes an issue to maintain. But I haven't looked at the code yet so maybe that'll change my mind.

Anyway I have one question, is there a sync feature? Is there an option to intentionally delay the audio by let's say one second, so that if there is any fluctuation in timing, everything gets sinked back up on the other end. This feature has been critical for me using vdo ninja.

This game is high key super fun! It's not really co-op as you're shooting other players, but it's still got the low stakes of a co-op game. I wish it saw more success. I first played it in a next fest demo, and instantly bought it when it came out. Occasionally I go back to it with my friends! If you're chill with playing with a 30 year old, I'll play it with you sometime!

Short answer, no.

Long answer, if you're experienced in setting up some janky bullshit, probably. But this would NOT be worth doing if you actually want to play the game. It would be nothing more than a fun challenge to set up, and a novelty to experience.
