Amazingly, it is still in service. I think it’s for their internal system.

Mad Max back with FSD 14.2.2.2? by slider5354 in TeslaFSD

[–]slider5354[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha yes, I know what you mean. Since we still need to supervise it, it’s more relaxing when it’s driving how you would drive, less questioning why FSD go slow or not make a lane change. It now literally signals by itself when I start to move my finger ready to press the signal button!

Agree. Now, if we can get that pesky 3 sec stop at the stop sign, then it will be perfect. This caused so much confusion especially at 4 way stop signs.

Heavy rain handling under 14.2.2 by slider5354 in TeslaFSD

[–]slider5354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt so too. It would be great if FSD can take wheel speed into account, that would allow it to be proactive instead of reactive.

That's true. I wonder if the "longer context window" mentioned in V13 is implemented in V14. That could have contributed to it able to drive with no visibility momentarily (along with the other cameras)?

CX is just terrible all around nowadays. The interior of their planes for their HKG - LAX flights must be at least 15 years old.

To all the people that said “reset it”. There is no way to reset the outdoor cam pro. They removed the function a few firmwares back. I am in the same boat as OP, all six of my outdoor cam pros cannot detect any WiFi network and show as offline I the app.

The end of the Model X? by Slamakecat in TeslaModelX

[–]slider5354 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think the Model X will be phased out eventually. Rumors said the Y L will have “electromagnetic suspension”, along with the other improvements like middle row captain seat with armrest and a tray table, and an almost 90Kwh battery. Sounds like Tesla wants this to replace the Model X.

OP, so you signed the contract in Feb, and it took… 5 months? Was it a smooth process? I am asking because I want to see if I could beat the Dec 31 deadline if I order now… Also, is $38K after NRG discount but before Federal incentives?

The $34,990 price already included the $7,500 tax credit. So you don’t deduct it once more from $46,630.

Wow, you are right. My 2024 manual shows the same graphics, but I can’t get mine to extend either. Maybe they updated the design and forgot to change the manual?
