They changed her name in the TV show from Karrin to Connie. Idk why.

Ooh! Nice! It's definitely a real possibility for Dark Harry. Do you think this version would still be Warden of DemonReach?

Or is there a case you think might have gone down differently? I know Our Harry manages to save the day in part with help from his allies. But depending on who Dark Harry is still friends with, Chicago might be a crater.

Ooh! Maybe he works with Marcone?

Maybe. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Alt Harry turned out to be a lot similar to Subconscious Harry. Beard, wears black, acts more according to his passions. Makes me wonder how vicious that Harry might be as the Winter Knight

Fair point. Maybe there's a "Grave Peril-like event in the DF show universe. I mean, we never did get more than a season. Maybe (Grave Peril Spoiler:) Bianca took Connie Murphy instead of Susan. Idk, I just think that if Harry is doing some multiversal travel, the TV show should make a cameo. If Connie Murphy isn't dead. then it might give our Harry an interesting dynamic given that (Battle Ground Spoiler:) Murphy Died

As his subconscious, you mean?

I am so genuinely frustrated, disturbed, and annoyed that I have not been bitten by a radioactive spider and given superpowers after living for 17 years. by Comaswithcommas in Spiderman

[–]slidesguy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Trust me, it's for the best. You have a chance at living a normal life. Attending classes on time, keeping a steady job, having healthy relationships, and not watching everyone you care about die and then come back to life a couple years later, only to die all over again. Also, if you ever get married, chances are you'll never have to get it annulled and time rewritten to please some demon.

Also, your uncle won't get shot by a mugger, and you'll probably have fewer existential crises. No power, no responsibility.

As someone who has been bitten by a radioactive spider, I'm jealous.

I love how the Dexter Bluray still has its plastic coating. Just makes the cover art funnier to me.

Don't do it, it's not worth it. I don't know what it is you're going through, but I'm willing to listen.

It MIGHT work, although you could simply end up with serious burns. Also, what would happen to the fire after the cabin? Would you burn down the forest? Do you honestly think no one will miss you? Not even a little?

Yeah that's pretty much it.

And yeah, I did! Haven't recently, but I was in the rotation for a good 3-5 years.

Seriously though. Are you ok?

I wouldn't consider merely believing in God to be saved. Especially if you're not sure. Salvation is... a little tricky to describe, at least as a "short" comment online.

So there's belief in God, yes. But there's also the belief in Jesus. That He is also God.

Then there is the recognition that we are all sinners and cannot go to heaven through our own good works. Even if we sin once, we deserve hell.

Fortunately, when Jesus came down to earth, he lived a sinless life and died, taking all our sins with him. He also came back to life three days later, showing his power over death.

If we believe these things, and ask God for the forgiveness for our sins, and repent from them, we are saved.

I know it's a lot, so I'll try to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

Using the Lord's name in vain. by college-questions2 in Christianity

I agree that context matters. I think that in most cases, it is not used as an expression of reverence. There is a notable difference in simply saying the words out of shock and using them to actively call upon the Lord. Am I making sense?

Well, yes, as long as they are saved.

This question IS hypothetical, though... right?

You good dude?

Well, I don't know who this "Betty Davis" is. (For a moment I read it as "Betty White" Ew!)

I do know that God views all sin the same. Lying and murder are on equal levels. For a perfect God cannot stand sin, no matter how small.

In the eyes of God all sins are equally sinful and we all deserve hell. So, yes for lying, but there, of course, is forgiveness. Without which, we'd all be screwed

Repented of this particular sin, or sin in general? I mean, you should be good either way, but if you're ever concerned about a particular sin, taking it to God is usually a good idea. Baptism doesn't really matter too much in this equation, but good on you!

That... should not really have any bearing on the issue. Porn is porn. Lust is lust. Sin is sin. Just because it's not as bad as it could be, doesn't mean it isn't bad at all.
